Despite all the internet and emails, there will always be snail mail, and our friendly postie. Our postie comes without fail, rain or shine, snow or hail.
When D was little, we would walk down our foot path, and sing:
Please Mr. Postman, please check and see, if there is a letter for me.
My D is grown and lives overseas, a letter or two would be nice, but our New Zealand Post just announced the postie will be delivering the snail mail every second day.
