26 years ago, on 22 November 1989,
My baby Andrew went to heaven.
My heart broke,
My life shattered.
It's been long hard years,
My arms were heavy,
seeing other babies were heart wrenching.
Life was like a piece of puzzle that is missing.
Life was like a bowl that had cracked,
No amount of or repair will make it better.
You will always see the cracks.

It has become a Kintsugi (金継ぎ?)
It can look beautiful.
One day, when Andrew was 21,
I told myself,
I have cried long enough.
Channel your energies to help others.
This I did,
and Life has become better.
I can go to a mom who has just lost her baby,
I hold her hand and tell her it's okay to cry.
