New Zealand Loss and Grief Awareness Week:  July 28 - August 3, 2014

Raising awareness of the powerful impact loss and grief can have on the lives of children, young people and adults - whatever its cause. Providing an opportunity to share ideas about effectively supporting those who are grieving, and where extra grief help and support can be found in New Zealand, if it's needed.

The founding member of International Grieving Mothers celebrated her 35 wedding anniversary. Deep under this celebration, there is a reminder that her son is not around to celebrate with her and her husband.

July is the month my rainbow baby was born. He was an unplanned baby born 7 years after Andrew died. This rainbow boy gives me joy, but every year prior to his birthday, I remember Andrew.

I have moved on, and write to help parents who have just bereaved.
