Croissants

My last post on the French theme on the Francis Bastille Day.  The story however is not French but American. 20 years ago, the husband had a conference in Washington DC. He took us on a wonderful holiday. We were staying in NY and the breakfast was Croissants and muffins. Both of them were super size, but greedy me went and asked if we could have a refill of 4 Croissants. The woman said sorry, I will give you 2 Croissants and 2 muffins. I felt sheepish. The younger daughter was only 5. That remained one of our most heart warming stories of our trip to USA.Photo: My last post on the French theme.
